This album could easily slap Margaret Thatcher back into parliament. Meddle has my favorite Pink Floyd song on it. I don’t totally love Pink Floyd, and my friends think David Gilmore is really great (T-Bone said he was his favorite musician BY FAR so there’s that). I once went to see David Gilmour with T-Bone at a movie theater, it was like a movie of him playing at some ruins or something.
Fearless is so totally badass, I can just listen to this track anytime anywhere for any reason, one of my favorite songs of all time probably. It’s hard to believe this is their 6th studio album. And that they had 6 studio albums by 1971. This album also closes out with Echoes so you know its gonna fuck you up by the end.
They say finding this record is a hill that’s too steep to climb, but everyday is the right day.
